What happened

Ten wrong codes in a row: the next try waits (1 minute, then 5, 15, 1 hour and longer, up to 24 hours) and is not checked before then. "Too many tries. Try again in …, or use a recovery code — it works now.". A right code after the wait always works; there is no lockout.
